Prayers for the Dallas PD

Requesting prayers for the 11 Dallas officers shot during the recent protest. May God comfort the families of the 4 who were killed...and have mercy on the 7 others who have been fighting for their lives. Prayers also for the innocent civilian who was shot as well. I thank all who serve...and have served in blue to protect us from harm each and every day.

May God have mercy on our nation as we strive to find peace with one another.

Amen Ron... I woke up this morning thinking about my friends who are currently in law enforcement (one is a Sgt with Houston Police and the other is a Federal Agent with ICE) and those that I know that were former law enforcement. To David Glezman and David Taylor, thank you for your years spent "Protecting and Serving" I know there is probably a heaviness where you guys used to wear your badge.

Thanks Ron for posting this. I think the update now is 12 injured 5 dead. Not sure if that includes the suspect. I want us all to pray for the falling officers their families and friends. Also pray for all of our folks out there that are serving & protecting us; God watch over them and keep them safe. I pray for there to be a movement of love and unity that is so much needed during this time of sadness. May God prevail in all hearts and that we all be a part of the healing that must take place to over power the hate that is taking over our country. May God comfort us all during these difficult times. Amen.

Last night I was sitting at the house doing a little reading and not even watching any TV till around 10 o'clock. I had just got up to put the dogs ups for the night and to go to bed when my son called telling me to turn the TV on to CNN. While watching the news and talking with Joey I had several emotions flow through me of sadness, concern and anger. As Ron stated David T. and myself spent years wearing the badge and are very aware of the risks of wearing that badge but we choose that career to serve and protect "ALL". With the recent events that have occurred over the past few years it has made my departure from law enforcement a sound decision.
My first emotion was a sick feeling in my stomach when thinking that each and every one of these officers have loved ones that due to these thugs actions have lost a son, daughter, husband, wife, father or mother....so on. My emotion of sadness is that this is something that should have never happened and would have never happened if our counties media didn't manipulate incidents that have happened to make law enforcement appear racist. My anger is overwhelming because when I think about all these things happening I reflect back to years ago realizing this didn't happen until Obama became POTUS and started stirring up racial tensions with law enforcement and condoning riots and protest. To add to the fire Obama makes his press speech this morning. Oh Lord! Please forgive me but if I could just get my hands around his....... Y'all know the rest of the story.
I stayed up until after midnight saying prayers for each and every one of these officers and there families. You will not be forgotten.
