Trailer inspection?

Anyone had their boat trailer inspected? Where did you get it done?

When I transferred the title and registered my 2004 trailer somehow I was able to avoid inspection. I think it had to do with the amount of weight it was hauling.

Anything over 4500 lbs gross weight has to have working breaks and be inspected before you can get or renew your trailer license. My new trailer has a gross of 5300

I think I guessed just under the 4500 gross lbs & the lady said ok.

Jason had a trailer inspected at the DPS license branch off 1st Street in Conroe. Not sure why you need an inspection...but if it is to get a tag, you might want to try there.

Try regular car inpection place. The inspection is a joke. Another tax not called a tax.

found a place on my way home from the tax office. $7.00 to inspect and all they do is check to see if the lights work. Had to show them my truck insurance to get boat trailer inspected.

Have all my trailers done at Stowe's in Montgomery. Don't have to put up with the BS. In and out real quick.
