Congratulations to all of you representing Seven Coves that made the Top 40. Lets get that first place and go to the Central U.S. BASS Fed. Championship!
I've got you down already Tommy. The list was for members that have not confirmed with me. Just have a couple more to go and we will have 15 members going to Top 40.

Hey David, I have not been cleared to take that specific time off from work, so, as of now I can only say that I will not make it.
Michael if you still need to check for the time off I can wait a couple of more days. I still am waiting on a couple more confirmations. Would like to see ya go. It's a blast.

SIze: If it's men's stuff (like a shirt or jacket, I'll take a small), if Ladies is available, a Medium. I promise, that's the only girly comment you'll get out of me. I'll even pee standing up. Terry will be at the ranch for the next 7 months (having to feed daily because of the drought), and I am stuck at the house, so if anyone wants a pre-fish partner to share expenses with...give me a holler. Otherwise, we have friends in the area that will take me out.

David, I am certain that I will not be fishing the top 40, got the official word today. I wish I could be there, but since I cannot I will be a cheerleader from a distance.
Congrats to everyone who made Top 40 this year! I wish I was going but I stubbed my toe this season and ended up not even close to making it. Never fished LOP before and I love the challenge of taking on a new lake, which is why I wish I was going. If anyone is planning an early prefish trip and wants a non-boater to come help scout I know a fella lol!
Just a short message to all SCBC members attending the TOP 40.
Hope all are ready to go and have everything in order. Hopefully everyone has their lodging set. If not, Dan Cormack informed me that Ron Jones, Asst. Region Director has an empty bed in his room if needed.
Congradulations to the SCBC Super 12. May SCBC be well represented and may one of you bring back the title and a spot at Divisionals as a Texas State Team member.

Congratulations to those that will be fishing the TOP 40 representing Seven Coves Bass Club. May the force (God) be with you. Have a safe and fun time. Also bring home the first place. Amen.
EVERYONE GOING TO TOP 40 NEEDS TO CLICK THE LINKS BELOW AND PRINT OUT THE RULES AND REGS AND THE AGENDA. IF YOU KNOW A MEMBER THAT DOESN'T HAVE COMPUTER ACCESS PLEASE PRINT A COPY AND GET IT TO THEM.
Looks like all of us fishing the top 40 will have alot of company. Northeast Texas BASS Federation and the poorman's tournament will be going on. Going to be interesting.
Ok TOP 40 Seven Coves Bass Club members lets get r done and send one of you to the Central U.S. Championship. Yall should be sharing patterns if anyone has prefished. Look for the shad to be shallow moving from the mainlake to the creeks. Check the points & first bit of structure going into the creeks (first boat dock, weed beds etc...). I would also fish the secondary points and same type structure. Focus on the wind blown areas. Follow the wind my friends and may God be with you all. Amen.
It won't be hard to follow the wind these days. You pretty much have to go where it blows you. Hoping it settles down before tomorrow. I'll be prefishing Thursday with Terry in our Ranger, then he's headed back to the ranch. If anyone needs a prefishing buddy for Friday or a place to stay Fri-Sat, I'm available. 281-772-6327 . I'm staying at Tejas Villiage across the lake/southside in a cabin. P.S. Their boat ramp isn't open, so they have plenty of rooms.
Prefished Thursday Started with a shaky head and Texas rigged trick worms with no luck. Switched to a square bill crankbait and that was the ticket. Caught fish on wind blown main lake points and creek channels that had ledges. Wind was out of the southwest. Friday fished creeks with grass ripping a trap. Saturday I fished with Chuck Dodd with Onalaska bass club both of had prefished the same areas. Started off on a ledge with rocks near the dam had my first two keepers in the first ten minutes of fishing. We ended up moving back into Alley Creek and caught my third keeper on a trap. Lots of small fish could not get my last two keepers. Had a big storm come through Saturday night with lots of wind and rain. The storm turned the fish off ZEROED. Now if you were the brave ones who went north like Albert you could find the bigger fish. Talk about a pressured lake we had three different tournaments out of the same boat ramp and three more club tournaments out of another ramp. The fish had sore mouth.
