I looked at the rules and regs and didn't see anything stating what would happen if NO share lunker is caught. I guess the money is just classified as a membership only.

That's probably what the insurance policy/company that would pay the potential $100,000 is betting on. Probably like a hole-in-one car giveaway at a golf tournament.
