I appreciate the thoughts and prayers from each and everyone.

Just got home from the doctors office. Ended up getting about 5 shots of some kind of pain medicine in the back. Dr. checked it out and immediately requested that I get an MRI ASAP. He felt something that he didn't like but said the muscles are to tense to make a complete evaluation. Just hoping a disk didn't rupture. He said if the pain isn't gone by Monday then I have to go back in.

Just wanted to update everyone and say thanks.

Well looks like the prayers worked some what. Just got back from the doctor and the MRI report showed that I have a torn disk on the L1-L2. It also shows that I have accute arthritis in almost the whole lumbar region and a bulginging disk in the L5. The good news is there won't be any surgery. I go in tomorrow for an injection in the torn disk area and it should heal the disk. Bad news is that I will have back issues for the rest of my life.

Hopefully I will be back in the groove for the July JJ.

Amen on the prayers worked for no surgery and I know you will be back at it soon. Just be careful and do not do something to make that back worse. More prayers on the way for more healing. Amen.

Glez I hope the best for you. Back and neck problems make it tough to lead a normal life since those both support so much of our body.Good luck and God speed!
