Boy you don't know how I would like to start drinking again. Wonder how Gary Klein is doing? He's my pick to win this year. Just hope he doesn't get shot at this time.

KVD HAS CAUGHT HIS THIRD BUT HE IS PLAYING BUMPERBOATS WITH THE BRIDESMAID OF THE CLASSIC. AARON MARTENS IS ON THE SAME WATER AS KVD. ALL THE ANGLERS THAT HEADED SOUTH (20-25) ARE OUT OF CELL SERVICE SO NUMBERS WILL NOT REPORT TILL AFTER THE SUN CLEARS OFF THE REMAINING FOG..

 It really doesn't affect me, but it's the mixture with other medications that affects people.  I had 3 beers Wed night & Thursday night and my blood sugar was in the 60's afterwards.

Didn't Arron Martins do the same thing a couple of years ago when they had the big Elite tournament on Falcon when so many big sacks were weighted in and they had so many fish die?

DW the ban from beer is only until they get the medication right to level my blood sugar levels. Right now its not going so great and I am at the max limit on the meds. If it doesn't level out at the good level in 2 weeks then I may be looking at the shots. Its pretty rough on a fellow that loves to eat. This diet sucks.

Glez, I thought of you when I read this!!!

As we watch BassTrakk on the final day of the Bassmaster Classic, we see that Kevin VanDam is shaping up to be the Chuck Norris of bass fishing.
Here's our top 10:

Some people wear Superman pajamas. Superman wears KVD pajamas.

KVD doesn't need to actually cast for fish, he simply goes to a river or lake and says: "You, you, you, you and you -- in the livewell!"

KVD can win a game of Connect Four in only three moves.

When the boogeyman goes to sleep, he checks his closet for KVD.

When KVD goes fishing, he doesn't need a fishing pole - he just stares at the water till the fish jump into his boat out of shear panic.

KVD runs until the treadmill gets tired.

They found KVD 's to-do list ... It is now known as The Guinness Book of World Records.

KVD doesn't do push-ups. He pushes the world down

KVD once won an underwater breathing contest with a fish.

KVD doesn't need to wait for a bite when he goes fishing; the fish know KVD doesn't like to wait.

All I can say is "UNBELIEVABLE"!!!

Aa I'm typing this post I am listening to a live interview with the "God of Fishing". He is discribing how he disected the area he fished and why he chose to fish there. Amazing. Shows why he is the all time undisputed best fisherman in the world. KVD is blessed with a gift. I watched the live stream each day and yesterday I did not expect how the final day would play out. After Remitz and Aaron weighed in I actually thought this was going to be close. NOT. The KING KONG comes in with 28 lbs. WOW!

Did notice that all but one of us on the Fantasy Fishing had the same idea in choosing Edwin Evers. Boy that was a let down. Thought after day one E2 would be in the super 6 at least.

IMHO Scott Rook should be crowned the winner.

The top six left there catch, boat and observers to stand within the crown and be introduced by the MC and as any of us who know the rules that is punishable by disqulafication.

But It was a terrific show.
