2011 FMC/United Way Bass Fishing Tournament

It is that time of year again and the FMC/United Way Bass Fishing Tournament is scheduled for April 30, 2011 on Lake Conroe hosted out of StowAway Marina with our own J Miller as the MC.   Entry fee this year will be $100 per two person team and $20 for the Big Bass side pot.  Again, this year we will have a raffle after the weigh in.  My hopes are to build upon the succes of last years raffle and bring more and better items to the table for J to give away. If you are interestd in participating in the tournament send me a message with your email and I will send you a copy of the tournament flyer, registration and rules.  Also, you can find the flyer, rules and registration at StowAway Marina begining this Saturday.  I look forward to seeing you there.

Tournament is next weekend April 30th.  If you can't fish the tournament come for the weigh in and raffle.  Tickets are only $2 a piece.  Bring your family, friends and neighbors.  The raffle is open to anyone.  For those who have not been before the raffle is awesome and J does a fantastic job.

Sorry, can't make it. I'm in the Relay for Life benefiting American Cancer Society all night, then headed to what might be my son's last competitive baseball game. He plays for Texas Wesleyan University. The Conference Championship starts on the 30th. And he's graduating on May 13th. Boo hoo. Been watching him play for 19 years.

A friend of mine took the open back seat last night.  Otherwise, you would have been welcome to the back seat.

 

There should be others looking as we get closer to Saturday...you might start a new "fresh" post that others will see...

Carl, you might check with Dustin Hill, he told me that he was not yet sure on the status of his partner for the tournament.  He may have an open back seat.

Raffle Items So far:

43" Plasma TV, Digital cameras, Digital Video Cameras, Laptop computers, PS3w/Move, US Reels, Daiwa Reels, Pflueger Reels, Abu Garcia Reels, Large Tackle Bags, Awesome Lure packages, Propane Grill, griddle and fish fryer, electric smoker, BBQ Smoker, Kayak, Academy gift cards, rods, igloo coolers, Astros Tickets, camp oven and stove, trolling motors and much much more.  I still have a lot of cash to spend at Academy tomorrow so the list will just increase!

 

The best part of all is that J Miller will again be our MC!!!
