Gelcoat repair.

As some of you may know I had a little trailer trouble last Saturday on the way to the Conroe T.  There are a couple of nasty looking chunks of gelcoat missing Not really  very big) on the boat as a result. My insurance company says that they will cover the gelcoat being fixed but will use the boat deductable or they will just cover the trailer being fixed and use the trailer deductable. There is a $125 difference between the two. I am not sure but I believe the gelcoat can be fixed for less that that. So if anyone has any hands on knowledge of gelcoat repair let me know. Or know someone that can fix it.

I can take a look at it Ron. I am fairly handy at gel coat repair on the hull..(the part that no one sees) I am not a expert by any means but the chunks from the bottom of my boat have been fixed going on 3 yrs with no issues what so ever.

Got any photos?

Yeah Ron, all Matt needs is a paper clip, some tape, and a book of matches and he can save the day.  Don't you know?  Matt IS the MacGyver of fishing.
