BRP (Brunswick) announced today that they will no longer be manufacturing Evinrude outboard engines. Will affect many boat owners for sure. Have not heard if they will continue to support the parts manufacturing. Evinrude took over Johnson, and was the only outlet for OMC parts for both engines.
BTW...Brunswick is the parent company for Mercury...so not sure where that's headed.
Scott Martin had a video on Youtube going over the fall of Evinrude. From what he said they will still be supporting warranties and still manufacturing parts for now.
