Good to be Home

Took my bride of 26 years over to San Antonio to spend a few days. Had a pick up pass us on 290 on the way there. We both did a double-take as we saw a monkey sitting in the middle seat of the truck watching the road. Did the Riverwalk, La Villata, RiverCenter Mall, Moonlight boat tour, El Mercado, and even took in a play at the Cameo Theater. While eating breakfast at the Crown Plaza on Sunday morning, we saw San Antonio's finest take a high-dollar (lady of the night) away in hand cuffs as soon as she got off the elevator. There were plenty of interesting sites to see on that leg of the trip.

Left San Antonio and shopped our way to Buda...stopping at the mall in San Marcos, and finally Cabellas in Buda. Dropped off our goodies at the hotel before making the trip to Driftwood to pig out at the Salt Lick BBQ.

Forgot to mention...took the route through Bastrop on the way back to Conroe. Was a sad sight to look at all of the devastation from the wildfires. Miles and miles of scorched earth along Hwy 21. Will take at least 100 years for those pines to recover.

Overall was a good trip...but glad to be home.

Kelly & I have made that trip many times and got engaged at the Tower of Americas. SA is like a second home.

Sounds fun, glad you had a good time.

Sure that wasn't Brewsaugh sitting in the middle?

And how do you know she was high-dollar, maybe you just paid too much?no

Was one of those street organ monkeys (that holds the cup for money). So it couldn't have been Chris.

She was definitely "high dollar"...and what happens in San Antonio-stays in San Antonio. Haven't you heard that yet?
