Last work "Fling" of the Season

We will be needing as much help as possible both this Saturday Oct. 8th, and next Sunday Oct. 16th. This Saturday we will try our very best to finish the remaining 300 spiderblocks and get them ready to go into the lake the following weekend.

All who are free are being asked to come to the SJRA nursery site on the 8th to help fill in the cinder blocks with tubing, bamboo, and concrete. We will begin at 8:00am. SJRA wants the materials to be off their site by the weekend of the TTBC, so we will have to turn around the following weekend and drop the blocks into the lake.

Please consider helping out as there have been several organizations who have contributed to this project (Toyota, BPS, SJRA, TPWD, Seaco), and it would be great if we can finish this before the start of the TTBC this month.

Thanks in advance.

Ron let me get a "All Call" put out to all S.E. Region clubs again. Just hope there is a better turn out than just Ron Jones.

Need someone to aquire a concrete mixer from RSC on League Line (cheaper than Sunbelt). I won't be able to get over there tomorrow and they are closed on Saturday. Would be great if someone from Conroe area could pick it up. Cost last time was $85.00 and you will be reimbersed Saturday by Ron.

Oh. They close at 5 pm.

They have reserved one in my name on behalf of SCBC, might have to get somebody to pick it up though, maybe Jimmy can. I will call him in the morning.

I will not make it to the block party ! I have my own party that started yesterday, today, tomorrow, & probably Sunday. It started with water leak in back wall of bathroom / master bed room to the kitchen / family room areas down stairs. Been ripping out wet wall board, carpet, carpet padding, & today cutting out galvanized pipes & replacing with PEX material. NOT MUCH FUN !!!

Insurance should cover that. If you need a good company to do the work I suggest Southpro Flood and Fire Restoration. My brother is one of the owners.
