In the club jersey re-design process, a lot of members have indicated they would like to change the logo, especially the size. Here are a few examples of what we are looking at doing on the shirts.
The quality will be better than this and the images are for design/location purposes. I can change the color of the font if needed. I'll be taking ideas through this weekend. Thanks!
Derek my first opinion would be design number 2 and have SEVEN COVES raised just above lighthouse and the BASS CLUB in same font as seven coves. Like the lighthouse and bass.
Looked at again. Also move BASS CLUB down some and then maybe reduce the text size slightly for the move allowing the logo to be more visable.
Just my opinion. Could be after adjustment it may not look right.

Like this DG? The "Bass Club" font is the same as the top, it just looks a little different due to the arch. Per Animal, this is the font we used on our last jersey. We can change the font if need be.

I like this but the seven coves is just a little to high

Also, one thing we are trying to do is to "ghost" the logo so that it does not stand out so bright. If you notice in all of the sample pics above it is a little faded, which is on purpose.

Yours looks good, don't get me wrong. I just wanted to play around with an idea I had. I'll do that tonight, gotta work on the barn with Terry till dark.
Yeah, middle one was my favorite too until I saw what it looked like with the words "Bass Club" moved down so it didn't cover the fish and lighthouse and when the words "Bass Club" was changed to the same font as "Seven Coves."
Gosh at this point it's like splitting hairs... they both look good to me. I like it because neither one is a complete departure from what we use currently, but it does make our logo look more current and updated. Can't wait to see what they look like on the shirt.
You can use white but there is way too much contrast and the border trim on the outside of the lettering will not show up and a little too plain (JMO).
I kind of like that... lettering looks crisp and really stands out. But, what do I know... I have a white truck and a white and blue boat... keeping it simple here.
What do you suggest? Throw out some samples... I can't really imagine how it would look unless I actually see it.
I like the red letters with the white outline. You have to remember that the letters will be bigger on the shirt. The white is just way to plane. We want this shirt to stand out so people see us. Just my two cents.

Maybe a different shade of red... on my monitor it looks more burgandy/ maroon than say fire engine red.
I guess I am having some difficulty envisioning how this logo and lettering is sized in relation to the jersey? Approximately how tall are the letters going to be once they are on the shirt?
The red is supposed to match the same red that is in the lighthouse.
Ron, we "ghosted"/faded the logo out on purpose and the white was way too bright and stood out too much. Here is kinda what it would look like (ignore the Seven Coves in the background, that is going away):
Here are a couple of simple ones that I did. Works for caps and stuff maybe. Lettering color to match the stripes on the lighthouse. I like the second the best. But I like the ones already started too.

What about moving "Bass Club" down, making it the same size and curving it like "Seven Coves". I like the white being bright.
I like the words "Bass Club" curved like you got it there Derek. I agree with Ron, I sort of like the white letters on the blue background. Looks very clean and the contrast should really make it stand out. I do, however like the lightouse and bass to be ghosted. Again, this is all just my opinion...

I agree on this logo. I rate it as the best yet.
