Please pray for Bena's mom and about 6 of her kin folks around Apple Springs who were evacuated from their homes late last night due to the threat of the "Bearing Fire" which is the biggest east Texas fire ever covering over 15,000 acres. I hope Jody Rhoden and his family is ok, I know he lives around Groveton.

Prayers for them and for the people around Plantersville also. News reports a good chance of rain starting tomorrow through Thursday. Come on rain.

Yesterday it looked like major war zones in these areas. Smoke was visable for miles looking like explosions had occured.

Just talked to Bena's mom and her Uncle Tommy, Fire is 75 % contained and they are back in their home. Praise God for answered prayers. Continue praying for all the folks affected by the fire and our fire fighters. Amen.

Continued prayers for rain and fire containment. I know our cows are scrounging and we are feeding what we can to keep from using up hay for the winter. Plus, I'm in the roofing business & if there are no leaks, it is "out of site, out of mind".
