TPWD Funding Hearings

Tim Cook has been in Austin this week fighting for TPWD funding.  I saw a list of proposed budget cuts and it is unbelievable what they want to take out of an already lean budget that reaps little funding from it's fees.

Thanks for posting this Derek. Those cuts are coming from our
state government, and not the TPWD. Gotta feel for those guys
who wear the green. Nearly all of them are fellas just like us,
who want nothing better than to enjoy the great outdoors. Sad
fact of it is...they know what needs to be done to keep the
hunting and fishing scenes going, but have just had one hand
tied behind their backs.

Very important that we follow Tim's advice and contact our state
representatives.
