Gary Fannin sent me a text a couple of days ago to say that Somerville is +17 feet and climbing. Not sure if they are under restrictions right now...but last spring (when that lake was similar in surface height) they allowed boating.
Also: I called Huntsville State Park this morning to get an update from them. The park (and Lake Raven) is currently closed through September 6th. They are targeting a re-opening for September 7th...but it may extend through that date if they can't get everything cleaned up by that time.
Chester Ables (Onalaska Bass Club) said during a phone call last night that Lake Livingston is "Orange" right now with the runoff.
I may try to go to Raven on the 9th if they get things opened back up. I checked the water level on Sommerville this morning and it's +16.71 over full pool today.
