Praying for all SCBC members and everyone out there experiencing this record breaking weather. Please stay home and do not travel unless you have a life safety reason to travel. All is good here on Lake Conroe for now. I pray you all are ok as we hunker down until the storm lets up. God protect you all. Amen.

So far we are ok, and I hope the rest of the club members are ok. Prayers for everyone being affected by this storm... special words of prayers for police officers, fire/EMS, game wardens and other first responders.
Checking to see if anyone in the club is in need of assistance. I know we have more water rising below Lake Conroe and surrounding areas so many folks are not out of the woods yet. I have a dry home and power so if someone is needing a place to stay due to high waters let me know. Lake Conroe reached record highs and we had water levels I have never seen before. We had water under the house so having the house built on pier and beam saved us. I drove to the neighboring subdivisions and many lake front properties have homes flooded. Please pray for the many folks out there risking their lives to save those in dangerous flood waters. I pray for all those that are faced with flooded homes asking that God gives them comfort knowing this event will pass. I pray you, your families and friends be safe. God bless and I know this catastrophic event will unite us all. Amen.
I live in Walden and yesterday we were inches from getting water in our house. We were lucky enough the the rain slacked enough for the level to start dropping and save us from having to displace. As Terry said if anybody is in need of a place to stay we have room and power. Praying for those that have been hit hard from this devastating storm.
Has anyone heard from club members that were negatively impacted by the flood? So far I have not heard of anyone in the club that was flooded. I praise God for answered prayers and I continue to pray for all those out there that were hit by the floods and praying for those that risk lives helping others. Please let me know if you know of any club members that were flooded. God bless!
