SCBC History

I would like to eventually put a time-line history and accomplishments of the club and its members on our web-site, but I need your help.  If you, or someone you know, had a Federation win, big bass, or top finish, please post it here.  Even if you had a top finish, include that as well.  Please post the date (month/year), and lake.  The SETX Fed site does not include the individual tournaments in their archives.

I also would the dates of when we received the original grant, awards, meetings, planting & nursery buiding dates, etc.  If anyone has any articles that were published in BASSmaster magazine, BASS TIMES, or any other feature, please let me know that as well.

If there is anything I did not mention above, please feel free to post it and I will include it where applicable.  I know we have accomplished a lot, so I think it will be awesome once we can actually see it all.

Thanks!

Yep... he's wanting to document his 2 big fish he's caught during Federation events.  Conroe and Rayburn.  It's bad enough I had to net the Rayburn fish for you, I even put you on that spot, I gave you a little pep talk and encouraged you to not give up that day... and now you got to go and rub it in my face again.  Not cool dude... not cool.   evileye

All kidding aside, it is a great idea.  It allows us to showcase what we've done as anglers on the water and what we as a club have done for our community.  Should we also include things like our, Make a wish fishing trips, Swim across Lake Conroe for Food Pantry, etc?

Are you also gonna include a "Beers Drank To Date" counter type feature? I guess 250,000, Russ is responsible for 200K of those.

Derek you can still get some archived standing on the S.E. Region site. I believe in 2006 Carey Sanders won the AOY. 2008 Mike Parsons qualified for State Team by being highest placing S.E. Region angler at TOP 6 on Amistad. Probably more that I can't think of right now.

In 2010 Jason was runner up for angler of the year & Eric Adams got first on Rayburn in the Jan. tournament. Eric won Livingston in May.
Derek; FYI - You can click on the year in the SE TX archives and it gives you that years tournament results.

Yeah, thanks. I looked at the archives and only saw the final results and didn't realize that if you click on the year, it gives the tourny results.

I updated it, but did not include any seconds or 2nd big bass.  I thought about listing Top 10's, but we may end up out of room.  I did get tired of typing "Matt Russell" though.  wink

Ron Gunter, I hope you can help me with some of the specifics in regards to conservation.
