My make and model of reel does not offer a LGR (low gear ration option.

What do you use and why? How much does Russ sell them for?

Has anyone purchased a Diawa Excelor EXC100P?

Ron,

I have three of those in the garage that were retired last year.
How difficult is it to get the parts and how hard is it to retrofit?

The parts had to come from Japan and took about 6 weeks. Not hard to do, just replace the drive and pinion gears. Cost about $40.00 for parts + shipping.
